I went to Cycle Lab in Cape Town yesterday, had a browse around and saw some nice KCNC Bar end plugs.  I've been wanting to get those for a while and they had my colour as well.

Standing with it ready to pay, I thought, I wonder if this will fit my KCNC SC Bones handlebar, surely it should, but I decided to first go home and double check before I buy.

Haning a look on the KCNC website this morning, they Spec all their handlebars diameters between 25.4 and 31.8mm.  Now this would be external diameter.  The bar end plugs are specced between 18 and 21mm.

I kind of feels weird that these plugs might not fit my handle bars.  Anybody here know a bit more about it, do you think it will fit?  If the SC Bones external dimater is 25.4, the bar end plugs should just about fit?

I have used them, they are a bit smaller than the bars. Once they are insterted into the bars, you tighten the bolt which in turn pulls the internal bolt towards the end expanding the two alluminium bits on the end. They work on the same principle as a rawl bolt. They work like a bomb and look the sh*t.

They will fit the 25.4 and 31.8 is external diameter of the clamp area.

The grip area will be standard, how do you think you can the same grips on different handlebars?

Flowta, you're right, that makes sense, should have taken my coffee before I put up the post. Thanks mackiemoo, I guess I'll have to go back and get it then. Smile
