Will be doing my best to stick to that puppy tomorrow.. not sure how much luck I'll have though, been lardassing it all week in the office chair

 

I'll be doing my best to drop you if you rock up on your Daughters bike...hahahaa...

my flash 29er is close to 8 kg

 

8110 best results with with Rocket Ron 2.25 front and Karma 1.9 rear

 

 

with 2 f + r tyres Barro Race 2.0 can go sub 8 kg

That cannondale looks, and weighs the part. My On-one ScandAL weighs 11.1kg, at a cost of R17000 to build. Only 2nd hand part used was the shock. Can go lighter but I like the reliability. Also, I use mine to go fly-fish as well so you don't want kcnc or carbon under your butt while you ride with a 10-15kg backpack. So in my case only thomson elite will do.

every built done with brain needs respect :)

 

mine was for a marathon bike , 122 km , 3800 mts of climb , done in 8 hours

Awesome build Eliflap... that is seriously light :)

 

I built mine for the Epic - 8 days 722km 15000m climbing!

 

I know there are lighter forks, alu seatposts, scandium stems, lighter bars, and maybe cranks, oh and pedals too... but I like the carbon and I'm 80kg so need a bit of strength.

 

I need to stop spending money on this now... :(

I am planning a Niner air with Xo 10 speed will be pretty ,but no "VARKING" way will it ever get down to this weight,you sure you did not sprain your finger lifting the bike while taking the pic of the scale? :lol:
