So I've decided to review the beloved Park Tool BBQ-3 over the weekend Wink Its hardwork and someone needs to do product testing on this LOL. I've taken the financial plunge this afternoon and in the interest of extending Hub value, I will be giving an honest review on this item:

(As you can see I've added the required Hub couch shots of the tool)

Product: Park Tool BBQ-3

Price: R 150 (Williams, Somerset West)

Description:

A post-ride essential tool. Stainless steel pedal wrench and cone wrench

grilling tools that bring Park Tool Blue to the braai.

now this review i am looking forward to reading. remember to add somecomment about the gap between the arms of the tongs as some tech-grouch hubbers believe that park tools make crap that is too unwieldy to be used effectively.

Well I must say that my first impression of the BBQ-3 is that it is well made. The protective coating actually helps a lot.

On the actual use, this is by far one of the best braai tools I've ever used (and it matches my stainless steel braai). Originally expected to use it for the weekend and then proudly mount it on the braai wall of fame, but this set is actually going to be used with every braai.

The tongs are perfect and actually don't drop your meat.

The bottle opener is a bonus, and the spatula was perfect for breakfast.

Even under the influence of much red wine, the tools performed their job as expected without fail.

Love them, hate them, Park Tools have a winner here. Thumbs%20Up

It gets a StarStarStarStarStar rating from me.

Bwhahaha, excellent review.

I was given the set a couple of years ago for a birthday present and have yet to actually use them.
