Hi all

I'm buying some wheels from a Hubber in Gauteng.

I would like him to post it down to me in the Cape.

What is a sound/ reliable way of doing it? without breaking the bank or wheels totally?

How does wheels transport generally?

What type of packaging would be required?

An quick price estimate would be appreciated.

Got a similar need... except it's posting goggles from JHB to CT.

Because they're small and under 1kg, I want to send them via one of those Speed Services bags. Does the Post Office still sell those? If so, does anyone know how much they are now? (they were R36 in 2005, last time I used one)

Speed Services bag R1.48 (that's what I paid last week)
Speed Services Counter-to-Counter R50.00' date=' arrived the next day & fellow hubber was very happy.

...hmm... so it's gone up fourteen ronds since I last used one... but at 50 bucks... still worth it!

Thanks Indigo Kid!

Definitely agree... wheels, go normal mail, courier is about 5 times the amount. Speed services bag = R51.48, good service. Generally normal mail is the way to go though, never had a problem and generally pretty reliable time wise (about 5 working days).
