Deep Sections or not for Dischem Ride for Sight

I'm doing my first Ride for Sight next Sunday and don't know what wheel set to use, Mavic Cosmic Carbone sl's or Campag Eurus?

The set that will help you get through the potholes easier.

Ride for Sight does not have any major steep hills, so weight is not an issue.

 

You will probably spend most of your time in a bunch, so aero is not an issue.

 

There will be around 150 other people in your group, all checking out your ride. You must choose the wheels that look the best.

I agree will Edman. Unless you are planning on spending Most of your race in a breakaway, which being your first race probably not, then it doesn't matter which you chose.

Trust me friend, there are hills in this race and I would suggest ride as light as you can. I rode with Easton tubbies last year and will definitly do so again this year

There are hills, but nothing that is steep or long enough for the 180g saved to make any significant physical difference.
