Size for tall lady

My missus is 6' tall. Would she need a specific bike for female geometry or should she look at a 18" mtb bike or larger?

Id say she needs a 19''. But get her measured. And dont let someone talk you into buying a womens specific bike.

Depends on the brand of bike.

18" isn't the same from one bike to the next.

 

Ladies generally need a shorter top tube than men, so keep that in mind.

Agree, this "W" appended to some ranges is just a moneymaking and marketing thing... Just get the right saddle, and she's A for away!

You can measure her inseam lenght so long...... you may want to klap the guy at the LBS if he tries to get familiar with the missus!!!!!!!
