In response to the recent performance problems and timeout issues creating new topics, replys, etc. We'll be moving our database to a new server this evening.

 

 

 

Expected downtime: 2 hours

 

Start time: 20h00

 

 

 

During this time you will may be able to view topics etc. as usual, but will not be able to post new messages.

 

 

 

I post updates here once everything is back up and running.

Unfortunately our Web Hosting company was unable to complete the migration of the database to the new server.

 

 

 

We have rescheduled the move for 20h00 tomorrow evening and will do our best to ensure minimal disruption.

Hi All,

 

 

 

The database has been successfully moved to a new server.

 

 

 

Initial tests seem to show improvement in response times, however the true test will come once we've got a good number of users online later this morning.

 

 

 

We'll be monitoring it over the weekend. If you still experience any slowness or timeouts, please send a report to support@thehubsa.co.za
