What disc brakes would you buy??

Hi, i am looking at buying new disc brakes for my XC bike,but have no idea what to buy. What would you buy if you have R4000-00? I am currently useing Avid Ultimate Carbons.

I want something light and reliable.

Formula R1 - Just Awesome if you can stretch the budget a bit!  CRC had them for R2096 per side last week.

The biggest desicive factor will be what kind of riding you are doing though - I would presume from you current set it is more XC?

 

If the R1's are a bit steep you can definately look at the Formula RX. The Formula's modulation is terrific.

But then there is also my XTR's I am trying to sell is you want...
