back pain

I am experiancing back pain after riding, I only did about 23km. This never happened before. However I changed my saddle about January, and 3 weeks ago I was in the garden and my back felt stiff. Last week I rode about 20km and had a lot of pain. <?: prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

 

Could this be the new saddle or the back strain of 3 weeks ago that did not heal. I must say that in January after I changed the saddle I felt my back after about 80km of riding which never happened before, I also did the Argus and the crater cruise with out any back issues, I suspect the saddle did any one experinace some thing similar???

I had something similar, changed saddles and when the new saddle was put on it was slightly forward compared to my old saddle position, had to have a few shots at getting it in the correct position but it did come right and dont have any problems now.

you can not leave the hight of the saddle in the same place if you change it. The sag on saddles are different and you need to take that into consideration.
