Giro - American commentator killing me !!!

I am unable to watch the Giro on TV , the American commentator is so pathetic that I cant actually watch .

Maybe its just me , or maybe he doesnt have a clue about cycling but what ever it is I cant watch .

Anyone else having the same problem ?

Agree. They had the camera in I think it was Cunego's face the other day... and he had no idea who it was. Like, "and this is.... oh... um..... ahhhh". Pathetic.

With you on this one mate, that commentator doesnt know any of the riders, he struggles to finish a sentence before starting the second sentance which doesnt make any sense. He does'nt even know you call a group a pelaton. He struggled for half an hour to find a name for a pelaton, and eventually just stuck with "group"

 

I have to admit after the first stages I havent watched any further its too irritating

Watched last evening for the first time since stage 1. Sorenson was in an aero position sitting on his top tube descending and the the guy said that he is just taking some weight of his legs to give them a rest. I just laughed.

 

Then I watched the TOC and what a pleasure do have decent commentary!

Watch it in Italian on RAI. You'll even pick up some Italian words ... caduta! caduta! The American is too painful.
