New HR monitor from Garmin

I see that GARMIN has released a new HR monitor that can be used for running and cycling. You can also attach an optional cadence meter as well. Have a look over here: http://www8.garmin.com/buzz/fr50/

Without going to look at the site etc. Then why get this. If it's only a heart rate monitor why not stick with the tried and tested. Suunto, Polar etc

 

If you want a GPS attached, yes then use Garmin.  I do.

was so annoyed. we were gonna plot today's lbs ride on a 305 which just came into the shop, but i had to abandon after just 7 kays!
