I'm not an expert, but my guess would be no. I don't think it's a good idea, even if it is possible?!

No you can't - You would use all the spokes but there would remain 4 open holes on the rim

 

can't you built it so that those 4 holes are spaced evenly apart like at 12, 3, 6, 9 o'clock? It will look like those fancy G3/G4 Campy wheels with a bunch of spokes together and gaps inbetween.

Can you lace a 36h rim to a 32h hub?

i have got a 32h hub and by mistake got a 36h rim.

can they still be used together?
