  1. I've managed to get a older Fox 36 talas for a really good price, but need it to be lowered to 100mm. Yes the Talas does have travel adjust but its stopped working on the fork i have, so im looking to replace the assembly with one from a float 36 so it can easily be set at 100mm. Does anyone perhaps have a old float or this spare part, or even know of someone they might know that may have this part at their shop. The fork is currently at Stoke in Cape Town and Andrew has already tried to source one here, but maybe someone in JHB or KZN has one lying around? Thanks in Advance
  2. Hi, thanks for pointing it out, Survey monkey said i had to have less than 10 questions, then the webapp froze and it must of added in a random question
  3. RE ( THANKS EVERYONE! it seems ive reached the limit on survey monkey of 100 response to be able to see the data. Thank you all so much for your time, this information will prove to be very useful) Hey guys, terribly sorry for the clickbait title, but now you're here could you please take a moment and fill in this survey? Its for my Product design research thesis, all of your answers are extremely valuable. I'm trying to design a device that will reduce the time between a mountain bike accident and the notification of medical services. I will show you all the finished product in November if any of you are interested in the outcome https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/8JB7XJB Thanks in advance
  4. I was actually there about a month ago, sadly even with the work we put in it was too wet to ride. The roll in tower is crazy steep and looks so gnarly when you up there. i just hit as soon as i got to the top of it, its actually really chilled tbh hahaha next up is the jump
  5. Link engineering in salt river charged me 210 and was done the next day Highly recommend them

  7. Hey guys So I have a pair of shimano slx cranks on my bike and i have now noticed that the right hand pedal thread has become somewhat stripped and now allows the pedal to shift facing downwards when i put any weight on it What i was wanting to know was does anyone here know of a machining or engineering place that will be able to drill it out and to a cap to replace the thread? In Cape Town Regards Angus

  11. Im not usually then one to complain about failed sales but this one just made me pretty angry Saw a post on Sunday about him selling some cranks sent him a pm telling him i was interested and was wanting his details so i could buy them from him He replied back saying that their were a few other buyers but the cranks were mine and asked me to email him so he could send me his details. I did all this on Sunday and still have not received any pm or email back from him I have now sent him 2 emails and a new pm saying that he could at least have the decency to tell me that he had sold them. But every time i check he just leaves the conversation. Just my little rant And Concept, be a man, its not hard to send a email saying sorry ive sold them to someone else...
  12. it all depends on how much you are willing to spend, more = better quality, so like 6k can get you something that can handle it all.
