Free subscription Mag - Who got theirs?

So yesterday i got my first free subscription of Do It Now magazine...

must say - i'm pretty impressed...

 

Who else got theirs?

 

Nice thick magazine full of lekka lifestyle stuff.

On nice descent paper as well!!

 

All for mahala...must admit, thsi si a great marketing strategy!!

I got the same one twice, dont know that happened. But yes it looks nice, I wonder how they can afford to give a years subscription away for free?

Got mine, was actually shocked didnt actually think i would get a mag almost free of adds was expecting junk mail. So i.m very impressed

+1 I'm also very impressed!! Great quality magazine all over = from few good adverts to great articles..

Hmm, must have missed that.

 

Whats the magazines name, is it a cycling mag or just general outdoors.?

 

Good advertising for them, think about it, giving away 20.000 magazines at a cost to them of say 50% of the retail price, is probably less than doing two TV ads or 4 media ads to get the magazine known.

 

Plus they start the magazine with a subscriber base of 20.000 people, even if only 50% renew after a year, its still a pretty good result.

 

It would cost a small fortune and take years to build up 20.000 subscribers under normal trading conditions - here they get them from day one.!

 

Wonder if I can still get a subscription.??
