Very interested to find out how you rate the Geax Barro Race 29er tyres. They are nice and light, but i was a bit concerned about their puncture resistance?

Glad those %&&** didn't get away with your bike! Which office park? Mine and a few of my friends bikes regularly spend the day in or on our vehicles waiting for post work rides and you tend to get a bit lax with security when things have gone well for a while.

Rondebosch Station...geez man are you CRAZY!!! I lived in Station Road a few years back and got so sick of my bakkie getting broken into that I eventually replaced the quarter window with a piece of ice cream tub and some duct tape so the bastards could browse and peruse through my car at their leisure at night without breaking any more windows...

It's in Greenwhich Grove office Park, Station Road. My colleague's motorbike was also involved in an attempted steal earlier in the year, apparently based on the security guard's description the same guy!

it runs like a dream the two times I've been on it and chased it down the street! Had a big fall yesterday morning but bike survived. Handling is awesome and runs so smooth. Doing Seweweekspoort on saturday so have 80km to find out how it goes!

Ha ha ha nice one. I realised now but we are inside a freakin complex! Gates and all! And I see my car every 5 min when I turn in my seat so I felt it was safe...not anymore!!!

Hmmm.. that Giant is a looker!!! i got the same. i upgraded the non XT parts to Full XT.... now i'm after the American Classics....

I chose the GT cause it was lighter(but more expensive obviously) but it looks like you have done a few mods, any idea on weight or weight saving?
