Why on earth are the disabled bays always so close to the entrance?

 

I really don't get it...I mean, it's not like these guys walk anywhere...

 

I am in a wheel chair and I dont mind if its not in front, the main thing is that the bays are bigger so we can get in and out easily. also, you dont have to be in a wheelchair. Guys with polio or clubfeet or what ever where walking far is difficult can and do use them.
