If they are worried about the amount of entries, then why not give more incentive for the smaller elite and u/23 teams and individuals. Make entries cheaper, prize money more spread out (like paying to around 20th place) and get more exposure on tv for all the races. The main thing is exposure. Teams cant get sponsers if the sponsers have nothing to show for. The 3min covarage races get, only showing 1min of the racing is worth nothing. Not to mention the 5sec the ladies race get only at the sprint. Our races in sa are breeding only 1 type of rider, from the u14 up already. Sprinters. Thats all.
