Reliability of the SRAM S40 rear wheel

has anyone had reliability issues with the rear SRAM S40 wheel? I had to replace spokes now on two occassions?

A guy in our DC team broke 2 spokes last week on his S40 front wheel... and it was his first ride with them

 

I personally wouldn't buy these wheels - Sram owns ZIPP, so for the money you are spending you are just getting old technology rebranded ZIPP's

Even old Zipp's were very good wheels.I think they are re-banded generic wheels.

 

I have seen problems with the S60 back and front spokes but not on the S40.

OUCH! Ok, rear spokes snapping is understandable but front wheel spokes? This is not good! Thanks for the comments gents.

Been riding my set over 3000km.

 

Broke one spoke on the back wheel after about 1000km and nothing else. But that goes with any wheelset. Great wheels!

Spoke to someone at the agents , there are issues with most of the SRAM wheels , snapping and spokes pulling out
