Snakeskin Racing Ralphs are the biz , running mine as low as 1.4bar never had a hassle 2.25 wide. Stay away from harsh chemical type paint removers , most of them contain caustic which will stuff up the molecular structure of the epoxy. Blasting the frame will pit the carbon and possibly make it a bit fluffy as the individual strands are being broken. Guys there is no quick fix or short cut here . Start with 120 grit and work your way down to either 400 or 600 . Acetone will only degrease the frame which is a great idea just prior to painting not a solution for paint removal. Several good points guys, R100-00 for an event is fine but what gets me going is the minute an event is a Cycletour seeding event they double the entry automatically.Knowing very well that they will get a good turn out, Buggers.

Head up, head down , the fact remains another cyclist has been killed by a bloody Taxi, the problem being" what we can really do about it to make a REAL difference" that benefit all of us , 3 months ago I was in a similar position being struck by a Taxi just turning in front of me " I didnt see u , was the reply , was doing about 40km/hr, fortunately only cost me a frame"not my life" The Taxi driver could not have given a toss.I think the armbands and like are really great and noble but it is not going to change a thing to our situation as cyclists on SA roads.Possibly well organised mass protest rides, its time for a active stance not a passive one.
