Its amazing how these guys can go so far on a unicycle.

Check out these 2 guys and a girl, I have bumped into them a couple of times riding around cape town. They doing the freedom challenge route and some early next year. http://www.counterbalance.co.za/

They raising money for Bobs for goods foundation.

Inspiring

What these guys are aiming to achieve is no joke...

I've been in touch with Johnny since early this year when the idea was hatched.

Its great to see things coming together now for them.

He finished just in front of Honey and I...was a very sobering experience to be beaten by someone riding one wheel! :o But respect dude...glad it went good for you!

Howzit everybody!!!

Thanks to Johnny for pointing me to this thread... I'm the crazy dude who did the Amashova on one wheel!

Just want to say BIG UP to all you two wheelers who kept me going with all you support and encouragement. I finished in 6 hour 10min, with a riding time of 5 hours 50min.

Taking part in the race was all part of the build up to the UNICYCLE FOR CHANGE Tour - a 650km, 8 day, 2 province tour from Durban to East London, raising awareness and cash for Hope Preparatory, a primary school for kids affected and infect by HIV and AIDS in East London.

So ja... thanks for all the positive responses and the encouragement during the race.

I'll be doing the Momentum 94.7 in November and then hope to be hooking up with the CT unicyclist to do the Argus so keep an eye out for me around!

Cheers!

John
