This is where I introduce people to their new bikes, show them how to maintain chains, how to wash the bike, what not to do with pressure hoses, how to test for worn bearings etc etc. However, I don't teach the how, only the diagnosis. It is more for new cyclists and I offer the course in conjuntion with bike shops who send new customers on the course in lieu of the 10% discount on new bikes. In our regular classes we don't discriminate and 15% of my customers are women. A spanner is a spanner, no matter if a bloke or chick swings it. But to answer you question, yes I do it all the time.
