I disagree with Hector about the fact that Shimano 105 is only good for 10-15 000kms. Shimano 105 will out live most other groupsets, it is better quality than Sora and Tiagra and there is no sacrifice in terms of strength to make it lighter (as is the case with Ultegra and Dura Ace). I agree. 105 is the Toyota Camry of road group sets.

David Marshall Posted January 12, 2011 Posted January 12, 2011 Got the 2006 version. Supposed to be my training bike but I've done a lot of races on it as well. Hitting 10 000 km and I would not trade it for anything (not even the 2011 model )
