29er Posted October 27, 2010 Posted October 27, 2010 Fi’zik MTB saddle ?I‘m thinking on buying the ‘ALANTE GAMMA XM’ MTB saddle.Went on Fi’zik web site and they give you all but the saddle width….my sit bones measure 145mm and I need to buy a saddle measuring ±155mm.Any Hubber out there got on of these saddles and can you give me the saddle width and your thoughts on this saddle.
koukie Posted October 27, 2010 Posted October 27, 2010 The Fizik Gobi is a very comfortable saddle, ideal for long distance rides but I dont know what is the width. Cant comment on the one you are looking for.

Renier82 Posted October 27, 2010 Posted October 27, 2010 all Gobi's i have seen were 130mm wide...i have a Gobi, its too narrow for me.i also ride a 145mm seat on all my bikes.

It measures to 143mm in width and I am getting one to fit on my road bike as well, it's that comfortable. I had a Gobi for a month or so but it was just too narrow and created an awful amount of hurt after an hour or so. It is only 130mm wide.

Ermm...you take your finger... no, let's not go there... Your LBS has a foam pad that you sit on....then once you get up the indentations from your sit bones can be measured...and Voila!!
