Jy is heeltemal reg.... Oom Paul se standbeeld het eers reg voor die Pretoria stasie gestaan en in Paul Kruger Straat afgekyk. Die ou voetsuk is nog daar...... moet net nie vir ANCYL se nie anders sal hulle dit ook wil afbreek of dalk Julius daar sit sodat die duiwe op hom kan ***. Die standbeeld is toe na Kerkplein toe geskuif en daar was GROOT politieke onmin daaroor.

@ 71414 - Yes the country must move forward, and it has, but not enough yet.

But if we then need to remove the Kruger statue because it reminds of things past, then they should also not be putting up any statues etc of freedom fighters as that also reminds of the past and stops us going forward.

 

There is still no equality here, selective history it seems ? My history may not be acknowledged but theirs may, thats not cool. Kruger did not and does not have anything to do with apartheid, so why are they on him all the time ? Seems to me they know that he is important to us so they just want to take down the statue to irretate white folk.
