I couldn't follow thier 'official' map. Give me a google map anyday

True, event organisers should learn to use mapmyride. Embedding the map on the site would be a nice touch too - only one link to visit.

I am a DC virgin, so haven't been out on the route.

Glad to have some accurate reference points!

Doesnt Look eina, they are eina! If Headhunter played along with my simulations, it would not hurt as much!

I always find that the last 30Km of this race are the hardest. Last two DC's we only had 6 riders left at this stage, with at least 1 of them on their last legs threatening to derail our finish recognition. Hard part is keeping the remaining team together at a reasonable pace while keeping the weakened riders motivated to stay with. Hopefully this time around it will work out better.

Did your map reading skills get you round the route in the end or did you just follow all the other cyclists? ;)

How come mine & Kieran's Garmin says we climbed 550m (1927m) more than you? You take a short cut some where? :D :D :D

The hills are scared of me bud, I push the power so hard that the hills flatten!

I think your Garmin missed those few meters of climbing where I pushed you

Just kidding - TankMan was a machine, I'd ride DC with him (and the rest of the team) anyday - what a team player and thensome

:D Ja, thanks MariusL those last 3 hills were piss ... for someone with kidney stones like you say and especially when your turbo kicked in!

Headhunter our Garmins have the same altitude but the file I sent out earlier from Sportypal does not have elevation correction, so it is slightly out.

Looking forward to riding with you guys and the rest of the team again
