Any reviews on this sadddle. Everyone just talks about the Arione. Had the Arione but didn't work for me. Currently using the Planet X, but is uncomfortable as hell.

Also where is the cheapest place to buy this? Not all LBS's stock the Aliante(wondering why)

Interesting that the Planet-X is uncomfortable for you. I changed from a very comfy Aliante to Planet-X and it was for the better.

Like I said, mine was very comfy. I don't know which model it was but is had a cut out on the shell. Not visible from the top but from the bottom the cut-out was covered with a thin layer of white carbon, very snazzy. Anyway, you must remember that these "spoon" saddles have basically one sitting position and you need to get it perfect. You don't set them up level like a normal saddle but with the nose up a bit. Take a hex key with you so that you can do it on the ride.

BTW, a good place to look for these saddles are the odd bins at bike stores. Alot of them come of Raleighs and people change to Ariones when they buy new bikes.

IF your Planet-X saddle is in perfect condition, I will buy it from you for R200. I already have a spare but you can never have to many extra saddles.

I have the Fizik Aliante XM and have finally found a saddle that works very well for me.

Use it on my MTB and Road bike.

If you do 45 hours at the epic and no saddle sores then you know you have the right saddle.

Highly Recommended

Yep I also use one for each of my bikes, had a Gobi on my mtb but it was killing me on the long rides

Most LBS have those green test saddles I used it for about 2 weeks but it was right quite soon

I paid 1500 for the Kium one and that seems the going price unless you try CWC or CRC

Highly recommended weight is 254g if thats important

I have the xm version on my roadbike and the standard road one on my mtb (gotta keep colour coded you know!)

for me it is the shiz. I have ridden flat saddles and they dont work for me. Gobi also not.

but you must ride the saddle first - each butt is unique and you have to try before you find something that fits you
