Any suggestions on how to avoid / alleviate Handlebar Palsy?

Have the same in both hands since 94.7

Physio said that it can be any one or combination of the following:

1. Nerve irritation at C5 (Neck/Back) due to bike setup/ same position for too long etc.

2. Carpal tunnel at the wrist from too long in same position, but rather too upright angle of wrista because of gears/brakes etc

3. Too much pressure on the pinky/ring finger nerves from lack of frequent movement, dipped saddle, thin/hard bar covers, gloves.

 

Some sleep with their necks/backs/hands/arms/elbows in awkward (pressured)positions which hinders the healing process.
