Club for complete MTB novices in Cape Town?

Hi

Can anybody tell me whether there are any clubs in Cape Town (Southern Suburbs preferably - but beggars can't be choosers) who offer easy rides for beginner mountain bikers who are still learning the ropes and more interested in the nature/scenery than the adrenalin rush of the ride? I have been phoning/e-mailing around, but am struggling to find any info. Any tips will be appreciated.

I know of Tygerbergmtb club that offer their "slowcoach" rides, see their facebook link for more info

Tygerberg is a great mtb club for all levels. The slowcoach rides are great for newbies as the more experienced people help them out and teach them how to ride singeltrack etc. Nothing too hectic.

Don't know any southern suburb clubs though.

Just got to Tokai and ride. You will meet loads of people on the trails. Try and hook up with a bunch that are going your speed. Chat to them. Most slower riders are pretty friendly and easy to chat to. It's the fast racers that don't have the time to chat..

I've heard of a fair amount of people riding around Rhodes and/or Deer Park. Did the Cycle Lab Club in CBD thing take off?
