Speedplay VS shimano Dura Ace pedals

Hi Guys I have got to buy new pedals and wanted to know are there any guys out there who do have speeedplay pedals and what comments do you have on them ? And also which would you guys say is a better buy between Dura Ace and Speedplay pedals

This can go on for weeks again. There is no "better" pedal. Do you suffer from knee problems? Go Speedplay. If not get Dura Ace or even Ultegra. Cleats are cheaper.

Daarsy Mampara, very true.  It's like asking about the best saddle.  Spidey swears by the Arione, I hate it!!!  Go speak to someone at a reputable cycle shop (Cyclelab, etc) and get some advice.

Thanx guys i allready have ultegra pedals but just wanted to know what you think about speedplay cause im really intrested in them

I ride speedplay zeros on both road bikes. Like them a lot. I tried them out 3 years ago because my natural foot position is with the heel rotated slightly in.

What I like:

Absolutely free foot roration

Double sided entry - clipping in is a breeze

The zero ti is light

good cornering clearence

What I dont like

not cheap

cleats are expensive - my first set lasted 2 years, then the metal clip/spring broke. Since there was no agent in SA then, I replaced the cleats.

If you dony buy the special cleat covers, the cleats wear quickly if you walk with them - the under side is a aluminium plate, it does not like walking.
