mtbDobby Posted January 3, 2011 Posted January 3, 2011 I am doing the epic for the 1st time this year and very unfamiiar to cape weatehr and need to bring a sleeping bag (amongst many other things) - I was wondering what tempreture I need to cater for. I got a sleeping bag for Xmas and its range is +5deg, is this sufficient?

I assume one descent jersey is all that is really required in the event that it get a bit nippy?
Underachiever Posted January 3, 2011 Posted January 3, 2011 No need 4 one. Too hot. I used a duvet cover. Also saved a lot of space. If you do want to take one, + 5 will be good, but buy a hiking one - very small too. A normal "camping" sleeping bag will be way too bulky
