Wannabe Posted January 12, 2011 Posted January 12, 2011 Anybody using or familiar with these wheels?Are they any good as daily training wheels? Any durability problems? Strong/weak points, etc? All info will be appreciated.
AndreZA Posted January 12, 2011 Posted January 12, 2011 I've had mine now for 3 years now and not a single second of problems. The only hassle is with wirebead Gatorskins. The rim seems to be a bit bigger then normal rims so you struggle to get the tyre on.

Wannabe Posted January 12, 2011 Author Posted January 12, 2011 I've read one of the overseas reviews that it is a bit of a struggle to get wire bead tyres on. guy also had a problem with them seating not properly.

We're talking road rims here. Seating is perfect once you get it over the edge. I have managed to work out a way to install them on the side of the road without hassles. Almost the same method tyre fitment centres use to fit car tyres.

Almost the same method tyre fitment centres use to fit car tyres.Know it is Road rims, Guy on review says he really struggled to get the wire bead tyres to seat properly on the rims, as it seems the wall is quite thick, or something to that effect. So, you will give these rims a thumbs up as daily wheels? Any hassles with freebody, etc?
AndreZA Posted January 12, 2011 Posted January 12, 2011 Perfect for training and commuting wheels. No hassle with bearing or freewheel so far. Freewheel is louder then Shimano but it sounds great.
