some motivation please ...

... since my disastrous rhodes weekend and any attempt at riding in clarens being washed out, i haven't been able to even look at my bikes other than to admire them hanging on the bike room wall. the weather this morning hasn't helped, so now i'm still tucked in bed, on my third coffee, reading "the hour". i know i should be riding, but am finding it easy to come up with millions of excuses not to ...

 

please help!

i guessi have to go pick up the singlespeed from the bike shop, and get a new cog fitted to the spare wheels. maybe that'll do me some good.

What's your point dude? You are lucky enough to have the time to ride. There are lots of guys who get up at 4 to try and squeeze in some time on the bike. Stop the self pity and climb on your bike.

i know, scotty, i know. i'm just not into riding this week. thought i would be. i'm on leave till monday, and had planned two sugar bush rides. i've also just re-organised the bike room, which i thought would get me going. weekend's not gonna be any better, cos the most riding i'll get in is two laps on groenies with my kids.

hey, i'm normally up and at the bird sanctuary at that time. i am one of those guys who  has  to "sqeeze in some time". my problem is that i can't motivate myself to do it this week.
