Training ride 94.7 route Sat 27th

I'm looking to do a route that takes in the 2nd half of the 94.7 race this Saturday leaving Cyclelab / Montecasino around 6:45 and heading down Witkoppen to pick up the route to the finish* and then back via Maxwell drive.

 

Should average around 28kmh - anyone interested in doing this?

Joe Low, the road parallel to the N14 is VERY badly potholed and narrow (the one past Northern Farms), also used by lots of taxis and trucks, I would not ride that road.

DO NOT cycle on it under any circumstances, unless of course you're on a MTB on the shoulder.

Thanks for the advice (well, most of it) - maybe I'll just circle the car park at Cyclelab for a couple of hours.

heck, i'm scared to even drive on that road, especially when trucks come barelling along in the opposite direction
