To all the guys (and gals) who were there, THANKS. It was a stunning ride, stunning weather, stunning people.

Was good putting faces to the names, hope to see you guys soon again.

Hope the pace was not too hard for some, although I tried my best to stick to my resolution, and took it fairly slow. Still ended with a avg of just under 27km/h.

Lets pray we have the same kind of weather next week, as Boyes Drive was not as fearsome without the wind. :P

Na, happy to be at home and be still in after two weeks of ongoing travel.

^_^

So true, important to spend some time at home with missus and dogs.

Fakes gave me an early morning call trying to get hold of the bunch.

Did you all find him and his chommies?

Yes, we did meet up with them.

Ay AB, you were missed man.... one highlight is that ex Scultura Rider 'felt the force' and then it left him  (he took shortcut over black hill in glencairn and had coffee in Noordhoek - and did chappies 4 times waiting for us). Check my link - over an hour of stoppage time but was OK, just hope it doesn't affect the legs for 'mass fun ride' next weekend.

I did however do a lot of high intensity hill work, to the degree that my lungs were burning at the top of SB.... but it's a good feeling I guess.

Someone did take pics at the top of chappies but I can't remember who.... oh well - the pictures will surface (i hope)

Your Bum man! I was struggling with that moving average you guys were keeping up, so decided to just be a man and stay within my limitations.....

..... Good for me to get to do Chappies a few times though, now know it like the back of my hand..... Sorry I couldnt let you suck my wheel anymore up there on my 4th repeat :P, but I was getting tired then :P...

It was really great meeting up with you guys, had a super time and really awesome to put faces to the names....

Just a word of advice for those next weekend..... Rather hope that the wind is blowing, cause my word, Suikerbossie with NO wind in the heat..... Well, to put it nicely..... its sh**T HOT!!!!
