Hi Guys

Can anyone tell me what the recommended spoke tension values on the Mavic Crossmax SL's are.

I cant find it anywhere on the web and I get blank stares from the mechanics at the bike shops.

Front and rear, drive and non drive side.

Enjoy the weekend!

This site has ALL the mavic tech info.

Crossmax SL is Front: 110kg to 145kg

Rear drive side: 115kg to 150kg.

Hope this helps.

The recommended spoke tension of most most these factory wheels is given with such a huge variance, that the data is just about useless.

I suggest you just build the wheel to normal wheel standards and don't bother with the tension. Build it until you get a nice clear ring from a plucked spoke and you're in business. I sometimes smile at the way they give the tension on rear wheels for both left and right. If you get the tension right on one side, the tension on the other side, when the wheel is centered has to be in the range. There is no variance, the one is dependent on the other.

Ghostface, shame on you for revealing the industry's most secret passwords. Only 17 million people knew that until you went and lifted the veil.
