JoplinR crank brothers seatpost

Ive had my JoplinR seatpost for 6 months now and it started to lose

stiffness ie when i sat on it, it moved down slightly and seemed to be

leaking oil slightly. So i remover the Schroeder valve screw and tried

to pump it up at the garage apparently meant to go to to 70 psi. Well oil came out and it lost all pressure..

 

now it is unusable, does anybody know how to fix it?

A garage pump has far to much volume to pump that seatpost, a seal could have blown as a result.

 

Contact shamus on the hub he's is the agent for bicciletta, can help you. It might need a service.

 

Basically that seatpost works like an air shox.

Take it to the bike shop and have them send it to the CB agent. Mine did the same and needed some oil and seals.

I think a shock pump would be a better idea. High pressure low volume. Send it in for a service at your LBS.
