I would like to either start a new, or join an existing group of riders in the Helderberg area. I am doing quite a bit of miles in preparation for the Tour de Boland. Looking at between 3 and 5 hours per day, 6 days a week, starting around 06:00 in the morning. Anyone interested?

I think Sarel will put the Wannabees off cycling for life... I still have nightmares from the DC. It usually involves him sitting on the front barely breaking a sweat with the rest of us sitting near max, gritting our teeth and sweating blood!

I've got some long rides planned for the weekend of the 19th - MTB 4hr tempo (sat) and road 4hr LSD (sun). And again the nest weekend.

Try the wannebees or basin

 He wants to do 3 to 6 hours of training, which I am sure he can do with the Wannabees.

Only covering 30km in 3 hours might become an issue.

If Fandacious is scared to join Sarel Slowpoke then you have no idea what the Wannabees will not bee.

Oh yes, I vaguely remember doing the DC... Was when I was really unfit and slow :P

Maybe, the alter ego cycling version of the Wannabees in the H'berg, is what is required i.e. skinny race snakes that weigh little more than a sparrow's fart, trying to out gun each other and have a pissing contest on every hill ? Probably, a lot better for you trying to hold onto these guys rather than sitting in with cyslists dressed in that awful red & yellow checks with a dumbass looking insect?

So I can safely assume it was you my wife saw riding two or three weeks ago in 5339 kit on the coast road?

If he was fat and really struggling up the hill, then yes!

Nope, I'm fat and slow up the hills.
