Good/bad idea - bonding seeded number to jersey?

Recommended Posts

We recently bought Sew Simple as a multipurpose clothing adhesive. A thought crossed my mind the other day that I could stick my race number to my jersey, negating the annoying task of battling with safety pins. Any future re-seedings could just be stuck over it.

Anyone know how these numbers hold up in the wash?

The numbers do hold in the wash BUT the problem is ...... if and when you do re-seed you have to return your old num pay 50 SA Rant, only then do you get the new number. So your idea aint going to work.

What does work for a while is (him & her) Velcro......

I have not tried either combination. I just stick with the old safety pins. The flipside of bonding ur number to your top (which ever method you use) effectively means that when u ride with that top during training and you jump red lights and behave in a manner that is not good on the road the motorists have a way of identifying you to PPA.

Any way that sew simple does not work on fabrics like that. Tried sticking school badge to blazer. Didnt work. Staples are another alternative. Dont wear that shirt during training

be carefull of giving a false name and address to cops. We discussed this at a club meeting, it came up that the cops phone their buddies at the municipality and verify the details of the given address. And if that is not you, big trouble for you.
