Battaglin EXPERTS?

some old Fella walks into my shop yesterday whilst i am sitting on the trainer and wants to sell me a RACING bike. says it's something like what i am on (good grief i have used an old Raleigh frame no brakes cheap shifter single chainring...what more do you need for a trainer)

ANY way so i go to the fella's house last night and he says he is trying to help out someone in financial trouble. till yesterday i was completely oblivious of the brand Battaglin. The frame is EXPERTLY made... awesome welds!!!! Easton alu tubing. campy mirage 9 speed groupo. (that is entry level?) how much do i offer the oke? do i even buy it? how much can i sell it for?

I think you could get more for the older steel frames. They are also pieces of art. Mirage is 2nd from bottom of the Campy range.

Stephen Roche won the 87 TDF, Giro and World champs on a Battaglin. Would love one like he rode. I would say a Campy Mirage equipped bike like this would be worth about R3500.
