Please recommend a JHB [MtB] bike shop...

I went past the other bike shop I'd been told of - I think it's the track-based one - but they weren't open and had no sign stating when they would be [pet peeve], so I ended up at Solomon's, due to severe time constraints today. I'll give 'em a chance.

 

Will scope out Dunkeld the next time.

I can also vouch for Fritz Piennaar cycles just off Witkoppen (Paulshof I think).

 

Bought the wife's Merida there and the sales staff were extremely clued up and helpfull. Helped us to fit the bike to her size and helped pick equipment for her.

 

Ive also had good experiences with Fontainbleu Cycles on Rabie.

 

Only ever had bad service from Cyclelab. Then again a friend had excellent service from them.
