How much does the average Joburgh race cost?  How much does the average PPA race cost?

 

Your t-cops charge minimum R 250,00/hr so on average the costs come in between R 8 000 and R 15 000.00.  PPA fees depending on time of year can be similar so costs to host a Cape ride can be anything from R 40 000.00 to R 75 000.00.

 

Now take that figure and divide it by the price of an easy entry, add the weather factor, remove league, loose a cash sponsor, have a MTB event on the same weekend and then you will realise why there are so few rides this PPA season.
