yes, i think its because it's much earlier than last year, starting 7h45 compared to 11h, registration would just have to be way to early.

Competitors have two days in which to register (remember the earlier you register the more assured you are of receiving the exact size garment you requested):

Stillwater are famous for messing around their customers. You'll find a thread on this every february if you search the archives.

 

I suggest you phone them, and then report back here the colourful explanations.

It seems somebody else can pickup registration if one can't make it in person!

Glad to see they finally changed that one. They always used to allow it, but over the phone INSIST that you be there in person (ja, even if you were away on business).

 

Since Due South are part of Foschini group, it would be nice if you could pick which DS/Totalsports/etc. store from a list of four/five that was closest to you. It's not that hard, since many other races do that for you. but hey, a little more work for stillwater is not worth much less hassle for their customers.

 

I considered doing the 27km for Madiba run From victor verster prison a few weeks back. Registration was in paarl only, and not on the day.

needless to say i never bothered.

 

but enjoy your race!
