Felt Recall

I was sent this today. I have NO IDEA if this is relevant to SA but thought i would put it up here in case it may be of interest to anyone who perhaps has one of these Felt models. Or maybe if someone has imported a Felt themselves it may be relevant.

 

The models affected are the 2011 Felt F3, F4, F5, F5 Team and F75 models.

Sjoe, I luckily have an F85 Would have bought and F75 if they were available locally, then that and my mtb would be "broken". Eish.

I know they sold the current bicycles with an issue with the fork. Apparently they have not fully adhered to their stringent tests, more failed than usual. So locally they say they won't break but you will sign a disclaimer form for the fork, they will however replace the fork with a new one when they are released. They are 100% sure it won't break but yeah the problem is still their. Funny they did not sort this before release

I take it the issue is only in the full carbon fork ?
