I agree the sales person could have indicated the warranty period to you. However it is also indicated on the packaging and on the web site We really don't mind helping solve a problem for our customers Not all shoes are manufactured with exactly the same features. The depth of the cleat boxes of different brands differ greatly and also different materials are used. These variations can be catered for with the use of shoe shields and tread contact sleeves. did you send me the pedals that failed? they would be covered under warranty did you use the shoe shield on your Sidi shoes?

Both scenarios answers are correct The "limited float cleat" is available separately from the pedals you bought. New Crank Brothers Pedals are supplied with the Premium cleat

If you keep them away from High pressure cleaners and aggressive solvents, they require minimal maintenance. Most of the "maintenance problems" we pick up are from people who have had their bikes cleaned after races The Bike Stores rarely use High pressure cleaners these days, as headset and BB bearings also don't like them

have you installed the little black shim you got with the pedals? it fits between the cleat and the shoe
