Hi Bruce, With regards to the readings for Pw:HR and Pa:HR I assume these are not accurate as a result of missing data. This is something I often find on files, do you? My question is with regards to the Pa:HR reading. This reading is an indication of the decoupling between HR and Power output? If so, how important is this to gauge aerobic capacity and what would an acceptable deviation/decoupling be? 0-5%?

Is there anybody in the Gauteng area who can repair a crack in a carbon frame?

Thank you for the nice pics. I believe Pieter Seyffert from Konica punctured and then lost contact with the leaders. He later broke his front rim and punctured again. Good effort for a 21 year old though. Interesting to know that he, Shaun Davel and Waylon Woolcock(all in todays break) were the starts in Egypt when Waylon won the tour in 2007.

The older models have a battery that you can replace yourself. I'm not sure about the new sensors but I imagine that you will be able to replace it without much hassle. The monitor (watch) battery has to be replaced by a specialist, preferrably the Polar agents in Midrand. Move a magnet pass your speed sensor and check for a little red light on the sensor to respond. If it doesn't then your battery may very well be flat.

Has anybody had carbon rims repaired successfully? If so, who can I contact? I'm need to get a small problem sorted out urgently.Thanks for the help.
