Shaun should keep his focus on what he can do best and try his best to not allow the opinion of others interfere with his dreams. He has been a loyal servant of SA Cycling and has had some very good results locally as well as north of our borders(I noticed some people refer to those as fun events).Looking at the selected team for Tour of Morocco, the name of Chris Willemse is a surprise. Wasn't he injured since the last "fun event" up north, missed SA Track Champs the other day because of the injury?Has he recovered enough to be included in the team ahead of Shaun who has previously won this tour and rode like a champ in Tour of Egypt. Groot Lem was also going to investigate allegations about fixing a race result??????

Hi Ben, I share your concern. Don't let those who see this forum as a safe place to to make fun of everyone and everything discourage you. Stick your own standards and morals, you get the reward.

Why haven't CSA (or SAP) not taken action yet? In the meantime the sport is losing sponsorships and young talented (clean) cyclists are being denied most needed opportunities. All because of one big mouth, smart ass who thinks he's a hero and the bigger the story, the better. Are the people who threathened this guy still building a case, are they to slapgat to follow through or is this a case of the more smoke the less fire? Let's please move on and try and restore some pride and honesty back in the sport. We are actually giving this guy some credibility by continuing to mention his name.
