  1. Kolonel, Hou net die p?rre vas. Hier kom 'n ding wat jy nie kan glo nie. Ons praat weer.
  2. In my private mess. box I received the following message from Chunky. yawn, yawn yawn Arent you getting tired of this. You keep making threats. I have done nothing wrong. Never supplied anyone with anything other than advice. thats it. You wasting your time. Perfect. While you're yawing, please don't go to sleep. To you and all your so called informed "clients"? Think again.
  3. Whoopie, Send me the results pse!
  4. Windy, You're breaking new ground here! I never wanted to get involved in the politics of the whole affair, but what you're saying holds water. Bruce might have a point. But also get an airline on board to transport the samples to the next destination. I'm sure aan airline will do it for free once they start getting mileage out if it. Christ, do we have to book a ticket everytime we're sending samples overseas? If that's the case, why bother?
  5. Only if you're willing to cross the line. It's up to U.
  6. Buddah, Nice thought, but unfortunately doping in sport and not just cycling, is killing it. We're not talking short term, but long term.
  7. Windbreaker, Thanks for all the information. You've really done your homework and to be quite honest it's actually very interesting. Regarding the tests and labs. I've been pondering about the following idea for quite some time. It's easy to label a lab that's got a bone to pick with a certain nationality. Read: French lab vs American riders. I can well believe the Frenchies must be very disgruntled that "their race" has been hi-jacked by foreigners. Since 1985 (Hinault) France has not produced a winner with America taking 11 of the last 21 titles. More than 50 percent. And as it's been suggested it's possible that things can go wrong with (my opinion) a warped lab official leaking the news, mixing up the results etc. Homo Sapiens live by trial and error and unfortunately you do find those individuals that will always try to overturn the apple cart. To get the tests sorted out I think (again my personal opinion) it will essential for all the accredited labs to start working together. I other words once you've taken an urine sample divide it in three holders. A, B and C samples. A gets tested at the local lab, B gets sent of to another one of the labs in the system with the C sample being kept at your local lab for future reference in case of a positive result. The accredited labs all use the same procedure and if two independent labs come up with the same result only then can you pursue the matter by testing the C sample if the athlete wish to do so. If the two lab tests don't have the same result, throw out everything out and concentrate on your next test. Obviously costs will be a factor, but surely if WADA and all the organisations against this evil really want to do something about it, something can be worked out to make it viable. I don't know, maybe that's an option to look at in future. Any other suggestions?
  8. Dudes and Dudets, Long time since I've taken part in any kind of communication on THE HUB. But I'm back. I've been out of the country for a while and it took me some time to catch up with the al the doings that's going on. After I saw the taped version of the "Chunky affair" I felt even more determined at doing something to bring this arrogant behaviour down. After the interview, expos?, call it what you like, Chunky proclaimed that everything will blow over in two weeks time. Bullsh!t! I've got very bad news for him. This has to stop and we've got to get to the root of the problem. And we're (myself and some very concerned people in the sport industry) going to try and help to contain the problem. Call it a crusade or whatever you like, but we're gambling with the already shaky future of this country if we're just going to let this slip. The youth are involved in a big way and something must put into place to try and counter the problem. And I'm not saying we will stop it, but we're going to try out utmost to help the process. Everything will be revealed next week some or other time (most probably Wednesday or Thursday). But that just as background why I responded to this thread. I totally agree with Rommel that funds should be generated to help Drug-Free Sport in South Africa. And the white armband to support the cause is a brilliant idea, but before we loose yet another opportunity to help this organisation something should be put into place to generate funds for them. Once you've seen the facts and figures you will be shocked to see exactly how much has been done to try and counter the disease. But as I've said, everything will be revealed next week. I will keep you posted. (The response from THE HUBBERS regarding the problem has made us even more determined to try and get something into place. And that has nothing to do with just cycling. The bigger picture concerns every sporting code in the country and that is even more frightening)
  9. That must be one of the most anal rules in CSA. Seems bizarre - you get your license number and CSA link it to an ID number. You enter a race online/offline and the ID number and license number are required fields. Surely a simple database lookup would prevent the hassle. "Most "anal" rules? Linnega, do me an absolute favour. I've got no idea who you are. I've got no idea who you represent. Are you in fact one of the problems? Talking, giving shaait and not getting involved? Or are you involved? What I've seen from you're postings, you must be someone thats been involved in this (minority) sport for quite some time. Send me a private message. Then we can talk not only sence, but we can argue about cycling, canoeing, rugby, tennis, golf, bowls, athletics, snowboarding, sky-diving, bungi etc.
  10. Linnega, I'd love to be in your racing shoes..clits. How is it possible you get those discounts?
  11. Gift

    Databasis

Yep, gone there and got nowhere. The chip for a moving vehicle (car, bakkie, fiets etc.) has got to be worth in access of R50 000. Hallo! It's a shame. Why can't the same technology not be implemented just because it's "cheaper?" Masses actually rule the world. Individuals should take control and put theit balls on the line. Without being BEE acceptive.
  12. F*ck the plot, What happened to the law. Hippocrate's law! Thats why I don't watch sh*t like the programmes as in hospital law. Pure American. But have a look at "Law & Order". Not bad. Everyone of those cases are based on true encounters!
  13. Chunkster, Thanks for the cell number. I will give you a call on Tuesday. Monday, unfortunately to busy. I'll only get back home at base after nine. One more question? Did you ever receive or received money (boodle, cash, note) for the so-called info you gave?
