What?s the New Year resolutions??? mate and myself where on "brave juice" last night , made a challenge with the wives to see who will have a six pack stomach by end of April first. challenged the woman as they are 2 weeks training away from achieving that goal!!!!

like most people i have a vehicle and a bike. and as a motorist i find it irritating when you drive down a busy road and there are 2,3+ cyclists abreast blocking the road. as cyclists i think we need to respect motorists and they way we ride on the road. as motorists we need to be more observant and less haste

yeah i was alone (i know, STUPID), testing out lighting i got for the bicycling 24hr. but must say i ride by myself sometimes and never feel unsafe. "benoni's da bomb!" i concur!!! wouldnt live anywhere else

try east rand!!! i've only heard of isolated attacks there. i got bike-jacked about 7 years ago. partly my own fault. got bike jacked about a month ago in benoni. still ride there. no where is safe, suppose if its your time, its your time hey. sad, but i think they are realising the prices of bikes and how easy it is to strip and sell. when i was at the cop station they just didnt care, to them its just a bicycle!!! eish!!!!!

very sad news thoughts go out to the families and friends.

i understand what the goverment is trying to do and agree with it, what i dont understand is how local maufactured goods costs the same or even more than overseas goods. in my line of work i have seen how south africans love to "rape" each other on pricing.

I agree with you silverbackman, the congestion was insane im sure the organizers would have known the volume of cyclists and planned the route slightly better. Eldron I agree with you too, but as hard as you train it won?t help with that type of congestion, I waited 32minutes. <?: prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /> and to push your way to the front or ride past the people in the que is just rude; imagine if everyone who was queuing decided to push to the front, chaos!!! No more 94.7 mtb rides for me.
