Must say I have a very supportive wife, we hardly fight and she has to date never moaned on the money I spend. I suppose there must be a balance in marriage, she supports me in the things I do and I support her in her interests (even if I hate it).
Personaly I tend to avoid the yuppy shops, priced CL on a few things, my findings is that they where never competitive. Golden rule, ALWAYS shop around.
You are 100% correct; I smoked for about 15 years and then decided enough. First two weeks where hell but after that it got easier, drank allot of water and avoided stuff that had caffeine. I had the same situation; we have the prepaid box and have two kids. Our bill was always around the R600 mark, now we are paying R1250. I phoned the municipality to question this and got through to a lady. She advised me that in June they had their annual winter tariff and in July was the national tariff. So from September there should be a decrease in the price as the summer tariff will kick in. I was also advised the current electricity unit price is R1.36. She also said that after the next two increases I should be paying over R2000 a month for the same usage.
Sorry for your loss, really sad. i agree we must be positive, but as the saying goes "God helps those who help themselves". Sometimes mans intervention is needed a little more than just faith alone.
My old school, if it is anything like it was when i was there those students will retaliate!!! it is CRAZY that the "people" are getting away with this
