  1. Give it horns Wayne! But keep that scanner away from me, I have lots of body fat at the moment and ignorance is bliss
  2. Jaaa WP me and you the two oldest students in NZ
  3. Here's some NZ good. Yesterday I applied to the Uni of Waikato to study economics and political science (the useless Labour government gives everyone their first year of study free, so instead of taking the principled stance against such largesse, I decided to rather avail myself of it). Applied around midday yesterday; this morning I received my acceptance letter. Didn't even have to provide any documentation at all, not even matric certificate which I seem to have lost somewhere along the way. Was fully expecting the acceptance letter to be a rejection letter...darn, now I have to study ha ha
  4. There's your problem right there

  8. Yep Patches, we came on Skilled Migrant Visa - my wife's Skilled, I am not! - so you're on to it there...
  9. Weird how 2015 seems like yesterday or last year at most...
  10. Yes we did it; had residency within 3 months of arriving and PR shortly after, this is why we got citizenship just shortly after 5 years of first arriving. Did so with an expensive, but ruthlessly effective, immigration consultant. So I don't know the full ins and outs, but I do know it can be done...

  13. Personally I've always liked Cavendish's style. Scrappy bastard, reminds me of James L (very good mate of mine) in style, approach and capability.

  15. That was it - either Sabie X or maybe it was Panorama. It is a very exciting/scary/stressful time....and as you will soon find out, it is lekker to see familiar faces, even if in strange places!
  16. very few people do that for fun
  17. All the best.If you made the effort to go, chances are very good the offer/s will come. Plenty skilled people required, so, hopefully we'll see you again soon (last time I remember seeing you was at the Wimpy in Graskop I think, or was it Middelburg...)

Didn't make it TO the snake park. Ended up at some jol in Vereeniging. Had like R2000 in my wallet when we set out, somehow when I tried to pay to go into the Vaal River Beach Club the next morning, where my mate stores his boat, and there was only R20 left. No idea how that happened. Who remembers? Not me, that's for sure.

So, now, tell me- what was Truth like? I am attempting to get my best mate to come along tonight; my wife's keen, he's really worried about being the old creepy freak (I told him it's a rite of passage and now we get to be the guys we used to hate), and I said hey man it will be an experience of note...

Will definitely bring at least a wingman and my wife. She looks young and hot so that will probably enable the creepiness a bit more ha ha ha

Oh yeah sand pebbles and Joe Cools if you were going for a more 'commercial' jol in Durbs. And what about Roxys in Pretoria...I got chucked out of there for swiping other people's dops. Hey, I was a poor cyclist (and underage), what was I supposed to do?? haha.
